The 2019 Ineos season will live long in the memory. Rebranded as Ineos after years under the Sky banner, the British team fielded a formidable roster: defending champion Geraint Thomas, Michal Kwiatkowski, Wout Poels and Pavel Sivakov. Yet it was 22-year-old Egan Bernal who reached the Champs-Élysées in yellow, becoming the first Colombian to win the Grande Boucle and the youngest Tour winner in over a century. A defining edition, its outcome sealed on the shortened stage to Tignes, where Bernal's destiny as a champion was written in the mountain air.
