GAN 1996 - cycling figurine

The 1996 season holds a special place in cycling memory, not least for the GAN team under directeur sportif Roger Legeay. Chris Boardman, the squad's time trial specialist, seized the yellow jersey from the opening prologue in 's-Hertogenbosch, Netherlands — a statement of intent from one of France's most ambitious stage race outfits. Competing across the spring classics and the full international calendar, GAN embodied the passion and pride of French professional cycling at its peak.

This figurine faithfully recreates the jersey worn by GAN riders throughout the 1996 season. Each piece is cast in zamak — a high-quality zinc alloy prized for its precision and lasting finish — then hand-painted, one by one, in Le Petit Cycliste's workshop in Roubaix, France.
