Tom Simpson remains one of the most beloved and tragic figures in professional cycling history. World Champion in 1965, winner of major Classics including Paris-Roubaix and the Tour of Flanders, and the first British rider to pull on the yellow jersey at the Tour de France — Simpson raced with a panache and combative spirit that made him a giant of the peloton.
This figurine pays tribute to that extraordinary rider, cast in zamak, a zinc alloy prized for its fine detail and remarkable durability. Produced in small batches in our Roubaix workshop, each piece is hand-painted by skilled craftspeople, in the artisan tradition that defines the Le Petit Cycliste collection.
More than a figurine, this is a tribute to a man who embodied the soul of cycling to his last breath on the slopes of Mont Ventoux, in July 1967. An essential piece for any collector passionate about cycling history — a keepsake that carries the spirit of the sport across generations.
