This hand-painted zamak figurine faithfully recreates the Système U team jersey as worn in the peloton during the 1989 season. Crafted in small batches at Le Petit Cycliste's workshop in Roubaix, it embodies the finest traditions of French artisanal craftsmanship.

The 1989 season is etched into cycling folklore as one of the most dramatic chapters in the sport's history. That year's Tour de France reached a breathtaking conclusion: Laurent Fignon, Système U's team leader, rolled into the final Paris time trial with a 50-second lead over Greg LeMond — seemingly untouchable. He lost the yellow jersey by just 8 seconds, in a finale that remains one of the most iconic moments in professional cycling. The Système U squad had made that Tour their defining objective, and came agonisingly close to glory.

  • Material: zamak (zinc alloy), built to last
  • Hand-painted finish — faithful reproduction of the team jersey
