Gianni Bugno at the height of his powers: Italian national champion, racing under the colours of the Gatorade–Château d'Ax squad. A figurine that captures one of the most complete riders of the early 90s peloton — a cyclist who could climb, time trial, and sprint with the very best.

Back-to-back road world champion in 1991 and 1992, Giro d'Italia winner in 1990, Bugno defined an era when Italian cycling ruled the world stage. Wearing the tricolore champion's jersey, he carried a double authority: the finest rider in Italy and one of the undisputed leaders of the global peloton. The Gatorade–Château d'Ax team, one of the leading Italian outfits of that golden period, stood alongside him through a remarkable run of victories across the sport's biggest races.

The figurine is cast in zamak — a dense, precise zinc alloy that faithfully renders every detail of the jersey and holds its form for decades. Each piece is then hand-painted in small batches at the workshop in Roubaix, France. That handcrafted finish is what sets these figurines apart: no two are entirely identical, and every one is as much a collector's object as it is a tribute to the rider it depicts.

  • Material: zamak (zinc alloy), manufactured in France
  • Hand-painted in small series, Roubaix workshop
  • Italian national champion jersey — Gatorade–Château d'Ax team
  • For collectors of 90s professional cycling

A piece for those who followed the peloton through that era and want to keep the memory of its great champions alive in their collection.
