Raced in October and November due to the pandemic, the 2020 Giro d'Italia stands as one of the most dramatic editions in recent memory. Team INEOS rider Tao Geoghegan Hart turned the race on its head on the final day's time trial, snatching overall victory from Jai Hindley by a matter of seconds in a breathtaking finale. The race had already been marked by the crash that forced Geraint Thomas out of contention, while Filippo Ganna — another INEOS cornerstone that season — dominated the individual time trials throughout.
