He wore this jersey throughout the 2021–2022 season, stringing together remarkable performances from spring to autumn — from the cobbled Classics to mountain stages at the Tour.

The 2021 season stands as one of the most memorable in recent Jumbo-Visma history. The Dutch squad fielded an exceptional collective: Primoz Roglic, winner of Classics and Grand Tours; Jonas Vingegaard, thrust into the spotlight by a stunning runner-up finish at the Tour de France — and Van Aert himself, ever-present from the spring Classics to Paris, equally at home in the mountains, in sprint finishes, or across the pavé. The figurine is cast in zamak — a zinc alloy — following the foundry traditions of Fonderie Roger. Each piece is hand-painted individually and to order in the Roubaix workshop, just a stone's throw from the legendary velodrome, finish line of Paris–Roubaix.
