The Faema team holds a special place in the history of professional cycling. Sponsored by the legendary Italian espresso machine brand, they dominated the peloton in the late 1960s behind one of the sport's greatest ever champions — Eddy Merckx. The Cannibal forged some of his most iconic victories in those Faema colours, including his first Tour de France in 1969, claimed with an authority that left the entire peloton in his wake.
This hand-painted zamak figurine faithfully reproduces the Faema team jersey, crafted in the artisan tradition that defines Le Petit Cycliste. Each piece is cast in a foundry near Paris, then carefully hand-painted and finished in a workshop in the Lille area. A 100% French craft process that gives every figurine its own unique character.
The figurine comes in clear packaging, ready to display in your collection. It sits naturally alongside peloton reconstructions or displays of historic cycling jerseys.
