The 2022 season stands out as one of Trek-Segafredo's most memorable in recent history. Juan Pedro López emerged as a revelation at the Giro d'Italia, pulling on the maglia rosa as race leader across multiple stages and signalling the team's growing ambitions on the grand tours. Mads Pedersen, one of the peloton's most versatile weapons across sprints and classics, delivered a series of standout stage victories at the Tour de France. Giulio Ciccone held his own in the mountain battles of the major tours, while rising talents like Mattias Skjelmose and Quinn Simmons continued to announce themselves in the professional peloton. A squad capable of racing at the sharp end on the cobbled classics and in the high-altitude cols alike — and 2022 proved exactly that.
